Chris Hake

Violin

Chris Hake has been the Orchestra’s Assistant Concertmaster since 1992, and has also performed as Soloist with the Omaha Symphony Chamber Orchestra. Chris founded the Saint Cecilia Camerata in 2001, and has designed many activities for students involving music & has helped add to the rich musical programs offered by the Church. He is a graduate of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music with a degree in Music Performance. He studied with Zavin Melikian and David Abel.

Marcia Hinkle

Violin

Marcia Hinkle is a native Omahan who attended UNO. She was Concertmaster for North High School and All City Orchestra for three years, and Concertmaster of the UNO Orchestra. Marcia is a long-time member of the Omaha Symphony and former member of the Myron Cohen String Quartet. Marcia sells real estate for CBSHOME Real Estate Company. Marcia has also been active through the years with volunteer organizations. She was president of the Junior League of Omaha, and was recently named a North High School "Viking of Distinction."

Molly Moriarty

Viola

Molly Moriarty has been a violinist with the Omaha Symphony since 1974, and is also an accomplished viola player. Molly has a Master’s Degree from UNO, where she was a member of the Omicron Delta Kappa National Honor Society. She has played with the Lincoln and Sioux City Symphony Orchestras and Mannheim Steamroller. Molly has been Orchestra Director at Omaha Central High School, and Assistant Director at Omaha South High School. She has been very involved in teaching some of Omaha's most talented musicians. Molly is a second generation violinist with the Symphony. Her mother, Virginia Moriarty, was an Orchestra member for many years.

Margaret Lim

Cello

Margaret Lim is an accomplished cellist who has combined Performing with Arts Administration in Omaha. She received her Bachelor and Masters degrees from the Juilliard School of Music and is a member of the Omaha Symphony. As Music Series Coordinator at the Joslyn Art Museum from 1991-2005, Ms. Lim combined administrative skills with programming acumen to produce four wildly popular series. In addition to her teaching duties at the College of Saint Mary, Ms. Lim joined the faculty of the Omaha Conservatory of Music in 2012.
